Privacy Policy

Short version: QuickTools collects nothing about you directly. There are no accounts, and everything you type into a tool is processed entirely in your browser — your text, files and passwords never leave your device. We do use Google Analytics to count visits and see which tools are popular; it sets its own cookies as described below.

What we do not collect

• We do not ask for, and do not store, your name, email address or any account details — there is no signup.
• We do not log, transmit or store anything you type into a tool. Tool input is processed locally by JavaScript and disappears when you leave the page.

Analytics cookies

• We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage (pages visited, approximate location, device type). It sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) that expire after up to 2 years.
• We do not use Analytics data to identify you, and we do not combine it with anything you type into the tools.
• Your consent choice: when you first visit, a cookie banner asks for your consent. Choosing Accept enables these analytics cookies; choosing Decline keeps them off entirely. Your choice is remembered on your device, and clearing this site's stored data will ask you again.
• You can also opt out with your browser's cookie controls or Google's opt-out add-on.

What technically happens when you visit

• Like every website, our hosting provider necessarily sees standard web-server log data (such as IP address, requested page and time) in order to deliver the pages. We do not combine this with anything else, and we do not use it to identify you.
• The site loads one third-party script: Google Analytics (googletagmanager.com), used only for aggregate visit counting as described above. No ad scripts, fonts, frameworks or other CDNs are loaded.

Advertising (future)

We plan to apply for Google AdSense to keep the tools free. If and when advertising is enabled, the ad provider may use its own cookies as described in its own privacy policy, and this page will be updated to describe it accurately. As of this writing, no advertising is active.
